This is who we are and what we do…
The first piece ever made, was a custom compactum, for Jethro, in 2014. In 2016 our family grew and a 2nd custom compactum was made for Ruby, and in that same year, JETblackRUBY was officially born.
From a young age, Adam immersed himself in the workshop, exploring woodworking with vintage tools, which are still used today. Adam’s Mom took care of the designing and creative aspects.
Learning both the technical and creative side of the business as he grew, Adam has used these complimentary abilities to become the designer / maker of JETblackRUBY.
We are a small and dedicated design and manufacturing studio, originally in leafy Kensington, Jozi and now making a noise in Ballito, on the beautiful Dolphin Coast, KZN.
